I am Mark E. Sostarich, a civil trial, corporate, real estate, and family law attorney. I am a 1978 cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and former editor-in-chief of the Wisconsin Law Review, a scholarly publication edited by top law students at that institution.

Professional Memberships, Appointments And Accolades
My activities outside the legal field include service on the Wisconsin State Elections Board for 10 years following the governor’s repeated appointment, service as former president and secretary of the South Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission, and service on the South Milwaukee Housing Authority. I am also the co-founder of Wisconsin Lawyers for Voters’ Rights.
In the political sphere, I have worked as an adviser and lawyer for multiple state and federal political campaigns. I have routinely provided election law advice to candidates as well, and I have held elected leadership positions with the Milwaukee County Democratic Party, the Wisconsin State Democratic Party and the Democratic National Committee. In 1996, I served as chair of Wisconsin’s delegation to the Democratic National Convention.
Outside Of My Legal Practice
On a more personal note, I have served as president of my church council at Trinity Lutheran Church, have been involved in multiple church committees, served as an usher and deacon, serve as one of the churches’ lawyers, and have taught young adult Sunday school classes there for more than 25 years. I am a member of, and assist in fundraising for, multiple civic organizations.
